Healthy Take Away Options

Are you struggling to find time to prepare healthy meals? Do you reach the end of the day and realise that you haven't eaten for 6 hours, so you find the nearest take away restaurant and a quick meal to satisfy your raging hunger? Do you get home from work only to discover that there is no food in the fridge and call for a delivery?

All common issues in our busy lives! Sometimes we just need a quick, easy and convenient option to get us through...

Here's the good news! Not all take away options are 'bad'!

Nandos:

Choose the Chicken Supremo wrap and add extra chicken to ensure that you feel satisfied, thus not tempted to add a side of fries.

Guzman y Gomez:

Try the Mexican Bowl, filled with beef mince, vegetables and rice or quinoa.

Grill'd:

The Simon Says burger on the low carb bun with a single serve side of sweet potato chips is a winner! Again, if you are very hungry, double your chicken.

Subway:

Simply choose any favourite meal, but have it as a salad or wrap instead of a foot long piece of bread! Pack in the salad fillings, eliminate the cheese and substitute the creamy dressing for a clear variety and we have a lean, healthy meal!
